Tips & Tricks:

This function is useful if you want to mimic the functionality of a modal window without using form.ShowDialog() method. Disable the parent window by using this function.

Please add some!

Sample Code:

Class DK

   Declare Function GetDesktopWindow Lib "user32" () As Long
   Declare Function EnableWindow Lib "user32" (ByVal hwnd As Integer, ByVal fEnable As Integer) As Integer

   Public Shared Sub DisableKeyMouseInput()
      Dim lDesktop_hWnd As Integer
      Dim lRet As Integer

      lDesktop_hWnd = GetDesktopWindow()
      lRet = EnableWindow(lDesktop_hWnd, False)
   End Sub

   Public Shared Sub EnableKeyMouseInput()
      Dim lDesktop_hWnd As Integer
      Dim lRet As Integer

      lDesktop_hWnd = GetDesktopWindow()
      lRet = EnableWindow(lDesktop_hWnd, True)
