Alternative Managed API:

System.Diagnostics.Debugger.Break. It does a break that cooperates with managed debuggers (not just an int3). It's not exactly the same, but it's probably what you want if you're writing in C#. See http://blogs.msdn.com/jmstall/archive/2006/07/03/managed-Vs-native-apis.aspx for a comparison.
